
Student Recruitment and Enrollment Specialist

The Role:
Prospect Schools is seeking a strategic, driven, and mission-aligned Student Recruitment and Enrollment Specialist to support the growth of our expanding network of schools. The ideal candidate is deeply committed to the mission of Prospect Schools and to ensuring the success of our students and families. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Enrollment Growth and is responsible for managing network-level student recruitment initiatives.
Core Responsibilities

Execute Recruitment Team strategies to engage prospective families and generate new leads and applications for all nine (9) Prospect Schools.

Manage and nurture student/family leads through all stages of Prospect’s enrollment funnel using various outreach tactics and CRM software (Hubspot).

Build and sustain external partnerships with community-based organizations, feeder schools, and local businesses to promote collaborative recruitment pipelines.

Represent Prospect Schools at internal recruitment events across all nine (9) campuses during the application and enrollment season.

Participate in external outreach efforts, including school fairs, community tabling events, and canvassing days, including select weekends.

Collaborate with school-based staff to ensure a seamless handoff of leads and delivery of exceptional customer service.

Conduct Enrollment Specialist meetings with prospective families and manage communication to ensure timely, informative, and proactive messaging across all SRE-managed channels.

Support translation and accessibility of enrollment and recruitment materials. Assist schools in guiding non-native English-speaking families through the admissions process.
Core Accountabilities

Generate leads and applications to maintain a robust enrollment pipeline.

Build and maintain strong relationships with the community and feeder partners across our catchment areas to support ongoing recruitment opportunities.

Ensure that both network and school teams consistently provide gold-standard customer service throughout the enrollment journey.
Other Responsibilities

Co-manage recruitment materials and promotional SWAG in collaboration with the Associate Director of SRE.

Co-manage student application and registration data via the application platform (SchoolMint).

Research recruitment and enrollment data trends to inform network strategy.

Support the Senior Director and Associate Director with "Bridge" enrollment (5th to 6th and 8th to 9th grade transitions) and student persistence initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree

3–5 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or a customer service-facing role
Fluency in Spanish preferred -
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite, and CRM software (Hubspot)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational and prioritization skills

Meticulous attention to detail

Experience with admissions software or databases preferred
Salary:
Employees at Prospect Schools are provided with a competitive salary. Our compensation structure is designed through a lens of equity and reflects each individual’s relevant skills, education, and experience. The salary range for this role is $71,000–$80,391.
