About The Opportunity

As a member of the Prospect Schools People Team, our mission is to ensure that we are attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional people to serve our students and families. 

Reporting to the Director of Recruitment, the Recruitment Specialist manages the full-cycle recruitment experience. Meeting with hiring managers, posting jobs, conducting phone screens, scheduling in-person interviews, being on-site and conducting interviews, completing reference checks, and extending offers - all are within the purview of this job. Ensuring that all prospective candidates of Prospect School receive an exceptional recruitment experience that centers around our core mission and our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is at the heart of this critical role.

What You'll Do:

  • Full cycle recruitment: Meet with hiring managers, post jobs, conduct phone screens, schedule in-person interviews, be on-site to conduct interviews, lead hiring days, complete reference checks, and extend offers

  • Create actionable next steps from your meetings with hiring managers, act upon those next steps promptly; keeping all parties informed

  • Maintain speedy and warm communication (email, Gchat, phone) with candidates, hiring managers, teammates, and any other customer 

  • Build and maintain a robust and diverse pipeline of qualified candidates to effectively minimize the time required to fill open positions, in addition to keeping a pool of potential candidates "warm" and engaged

  • Listen and respond effectively to customer questions; resolve customer problems to the customer’s satisfaction; respect all internal and external customers

  • Ensure all recruitment processes are followed and associated systems are updated and accurate

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree

  • Proven track record (2 or more years) in full life cycle recruiting 

  • Experience leading behaviorally-based interview techniques; strong candidate assessment skills.

  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse, Vidcruiter, etc)

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in the Google Suite.

  • Hybrid work schedule (at least 3 days in office, including Mondays)

Salary:

Employees at Prospect Schools are provided with a competitive salary. Our salaries are set through a lens of equity, and based on an individual’s skills, and years of experience relevant to the role. The salary range for this role is from $71,000-$91,286.
