About the Role:

Prospect Schools is seeking an organized, flexible, and mission-driven College and Alumni Success Manager to join us in support of our growing network of schools. The ideal candidate is fully dedicated to the mission of Prospect Schools and to supporting the success of our students and families. This person will report directly to the Director of College and be responsible for supporting the systems and processes of the College Team, leading the management of Alumni programs and partnerships, and facilitating and executing initiatives that drive students’ post-secondary placement and success.

What You'll Do:

Program Management

  • Plan, execute and/or support Alumni programming events in collaboration with the High School team and network office (e.g., Homecoming, career fairs, etc.)

  • Develop systems for gathering and tracking alumni-related data. Streamline processes and incentives for collecting key information to measure student progress and outcomes

  • Work closely with the Director of College to support the build-out of a feedback loop that informs ongoing college placement and strategy

  • Manage relationships and student data collection with external alumni support partners

  • Identify and connect with key staff on college campuses who can support and advocate for Prospect alumni; help link our alumni with these individuals and other resources on campus (e.g. academic support centers, counseling services and other wellness resources)

Student & Alumni Support

  • Collaborate with the College Team, Counselors, Social Workers, grade-level advisors, and other members of the 12th grade team on College Transition workshops and other efforts to support and prepare 12th graders post-matriculation as they transition into alumni

  • Spearhead alumni outreach and communications through creative use of social media, interactive newsletters, texting and other platforms, and 'near peer' connections, etc

  • Support alumni with college and career programs and resources, particularly those pursuing alternative pathways

  • Provide drop-in support hours for alumni looking to transfer, re-enroll, or switch post-secondary pathways

College Counseling and Systems

  • Own and lead systems and processes that support the work of the college team; including but not limited to:  Overgrad, Whole Class Trackers, Recommendation oversight, meeting systems, and family and department comms, etc

  • Build college culture across the school through planning and execution of college and career centered events, including school visits and fairs, routines, signage, and workshops 

  • Provide event and project planning support to the college team, particularly as it relates to areas around senior matriculation and transitions

  • Manage a caseload of seniors and/or alumni, routinely meeting with them to guide them through the college application and admissions process 

Qualifications:

  • Strong alignment to Prospect Schools’ mission and values

  • Bachelor's degree, Masters degree preferred

  • 4+ years of experience in college access and/or support, higher education/student support services, or education program administration

  • High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with a wide variety of stakeholders and audiences

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis and reporting

  • Able to work well within a team environment as well as to take initiative and manage projects work independently

  • Project and event planning with strong attention to detail

Salary:

Employees at Prospect Schools are provided with a competitive salary. Our salaries are set through a lens of equity, and based on an individual’s skills, education, and years of experience relevant to the role. The salary range for this role is from $90,000- $99,343.
